Snapchat is a widely popular app for sharing snaps with friends and family. Part of what makes Snapchat so great is the Snapchat dark mode feature. While most people may prefer to have the screen brightness turned up, it can be troubling in low lighting conditions.
In this guide, we help you turn on Snapchat dark mode on Android and iPhone devices. We all love the fun features that Snapchat has to offer. There are crazy filters, cool face swap options, and a lot more. Snapchat is no exception to this whole dark mode concept. It had introduced a dark mode for its iOS app back in 2018.
This was a little surprising because the application only uses white text and icons. But it still did add some sort of visual appeal to the app. When Snapchat rolled out dark mode for its iOS app, it became obvious that it won’t be for just a limited preview period.
The fact that Snapchat has a reported user base of 100 million is good enough to claim it as one of the most popular platforms when it comes to mobile video sharing.
What is dark mode?
The dark mode is just a setting that’s available to make your smartphone easier to use at night. It changes the color scheme of the display from bright and colorful to dark, which makes it easier for your eyes if you’re trying to read something in the dark. A lot of apps have a dark mode, so if you’re struggling to fall asleep at night, consider turning your phone into Dark Mode.
When you are tired after a long day and heading to bed, the last thing you want to do is crank up the brightness on your phone. That’s why Dark Mode exists – it helps make nighttime light adjustments easier on your eyes. Very few apps get a Dark Mode update, but Snapchat is one of them. We’re presenting you a very easy and quick guide to enable the Dark Mode in your Snapchat app on both iOS & Android devices. Let’s begin:
